Well, so much for “unity.”

The night of his election victory, Donald Trump declared it a “time for us to come together as one united people,” and pledged to “every citizen of our land that I will be president to all Americans, and this is so important to me.”

But ever since, Trump and his family have done anything but stand for a united America. Instead, their continued rhetoric – via speeches, Tweets, interviews and more – continue to force an even greater divide between classes, races, religions and political ideologies.

In an interview with Sean Hannity (of course), Eric Trump referred to liberals as “not even people.”

Hannity: “Don’t you wish you went to Washington so you could deal with this everyday?”

Trump: “I’ve never seen hatred like this. To me, they’re not even people. It is so so sad.”

Apparently, Eric Trump was asleep during the 8 years Obama was ridiculed, hated, insulted and monstrously exploited by ideological critics, pundits and would-be politicos (like his dad).

“Morality is just gone,” he continued. “Morals have flown out the window. We deserve so much better than this as a country. It’s so sad — you see the Democratic Party and they are imploding. They’re imploding, they have no message. You see the head of the DNC who is a total whack-job. There’s no leadership there. And so what do they do? They become obstructionists because they have no message of their own.”

Coincidentally, the younger Trump’s assertion of liberals as “not even people” comes at the heels of his own organization’s alleged stealing-from-sick-kids charity scandal. Way to lead by example, Eric.
