It seems that when it comes to extremist violence, President Donald Trump is quite selective when it comes to letting the world know how he really feels.

Today – in light of recent violence in London – the U.S. president once again took to his medium of choice to lash out against critics of his Muslim travel ban while defending his anti-American views on terror.

(It should be noted that the president’s message of solidarity for the U.K. came after his politicizing of the tragic event – but that’s for another article.)

The president’s tirade of anti-liberal talking points is most indicative of his reluctance to acknowledge America’s own problems with violence. As of now, Donald Trump has still yet to personally acknowledge last week’s terror attack by an alt-right Christian white supremacist. But mere hours after yesterday’s London attack, he was “all thumbs” on Twitter to further his nationalist propaganda that – if switched in context – would apply dutifully in contrast.

On a happier not, however, our favorite response to the Twitter-in-chief comes from the U.K.s own J.K. Rowling who expertly used her words-wielding prowess to put Trump in his place:
